Background:
6 years ago, and for many years before then, Remy lived with his family in the woods. They were peaceful gnome folk that enjoyed nature and life in general. Remy was the eldest son but stayed at home in order to help his mother and sisters since his father had died years ago. However, it all changed on the day of the fog, a day he will always remember with dread. On that day, Remy was out in the woods gathering ingredients for dinner as he usually does, when suddenly a fog eerily spread across the forest. He felt, a deep feeling in his gut, worried and began running home to make sure everything was all right. When he arrived he found his family burned to a crisp with nothing but their ashes left. he sunk deeper and deeper into depression over the course of the following weeks. Finally, after recovering a bit, he collected the ashes of his family inside an urn and traveled to another part of the forest as he looked for how to move on. He ended up discovering a group of druids who, after hearing his story, agreed to take him in. He joined their circle and began down the path of the druid. He lived a very secluded life with only his new druid teacher as a companion.
Reasons for Traveling:
After six years, his teacher told him to travel to a distant land in which he would find druid secrets that had been lost for many years and then possibly be able to track the killer of his family.
